I´m Sonja, studying at Tallinn University (Interactive Media and Knowledge Environments). My favorite subjects in this field are usability issues and user interface design but also mediapedagogy/E-Learning. Actually I studied approbatur (25 ECTS points) of mediapedagogy in year 2007, in Helsinki University.
I´ve used this blog for almost a year and I also have a wiki-account. In Project Management -course we made a promotional article of EMIM to my wiki: http://emim.wikispaces.com/ I also have SecondLife-account, my name there is Constanzia Bergamasco.
What I expect from this course is another view of the subject, English vocabulary and lots of conversations :)

Welcome to the course, Sonja. It is nice to find a person who has a Second Personality and who uses blogger. I myself use blogger blogs (e.g. my site http://hojnacki.net) together withe other Google services. I also use Second Life (Second Me: Lech Vita has just offered You his friendship. I have mentioned, that I like blogger.com. Nevertheless form the point of view the emim03 course, if You really do not want to create a Wordpress blog at http://htk.tlu.ee/elearning/ consider at least changing the default language of Your blogger to English.

I am happy that an experienced new media student will be part of our group.
I have sent you an email to think how we can arrange the learning environment for our group where all students can read and comment each other most easy ways.
Since you use other provider for blogs, it is critical how to integrate your doings in your weblog into the group's shared communication area. What suggestions do you have?
